About me

I was born and raised in central Mexico; I studied foreign languages at the State University in Querétaro. In the early 90's, I traveled to United States, and then ventured into building a life in San Diego California.

Since then, I have developed excellent computer skills, through a range of positions in various industries, achieving a solid career in web and graphics design. Most recently, I was a Sr. Web Designer with Sony Electronics' Corporate Marketing and I am currently, a freelance designer.

My technical and creative skills include:

• Digital media: web design, email advertising, online banners, CD-ROMs
• Print media: graphic design, packaging, T-shirts, tradeshow boots, murals, posters, print advertising

Additional skills include creative art direction, brand development and style compliance, information architecture and interactive media design, project planning, administration and management.

Proficient in standard industry tools such as HTML, CSS, Adobe and Macromedia software, I enjoy working in the computer and creating something out of nothing.

Additional interests include the practice of sports such as volleyball, snowboarding and Yoga. My love for physical activity has inspired me to complete a 200 hour Yoga Instructor Certification, and I am beginning my journey in sharing this wonderful discipline.
